Corn & Callus Treatment
Corn and Callus Relief
Gentle Treatment to Reduce Pain and Protect Your Feet
Corns and calluses develop from repeated friction or pressure. Calluses are broader areas of thickened skin, often on the heels or balls of the feet, while corns are smaller and can press deeper, commonly on or between the toes. Both can cause burning, tenderness, and shoe discomfort.
We begin with a careful exam to find the pressure source and rule out look-alikes such as warts. Your plan may include in-office trimming, protective padding, silicone sleeves or toe spacers, shoe adjustments, and custom orthotics to redistribute pressure. At home, we may recommend urea or lactic acid moisturizers and safe exfoliation. Salicylic acid products are used with care and are not advised for people with diabetes or poor circulation.
Our goal is fast relief and long-term prevention. When a structural issue keeps causing pressure, we can address the underlying problem with targeted therapy or, when needed, corrective procedures. With the right combination of care and footwear choices, most people return to comfortable, confident steps.
